Using hemostatic agents for all types of wounds or only for minor cuts would not be appropriate, as hemostatic agents are not necessary for managing minor bleeding that can be controlled with simple methods like direct pressure. Additionally, while pressure bandages are effective for many bleeding scenarios, they may not stop severe bleeding on their own, thus indicating the need for hemostatic agents in those critical situations.
